For the second time, with a second ruling, the Dubai Court has confirmed the illicit use of the Tonino Lamborghini trademark in the residential project by developer Danube, named OceanZ by Danube.
It all began in September 2023, when hundreds of billboards and banners appeared across Dubai promoting the construction and sale of the OceanZ by Danube project. After months of legal actions, with the support of our local partner, in April 2025 the Dubai Court ruled in first instance in favour of our brand, establishing that Danube Properties had infringed upon the brand’s intellectual property rights for commercial gain.
This decision was recently confirmed in second grade, following the hearing held in the first week of August 2025, reaffirming the clear infringement committed.
“The recognition by the Dubai jurisdiction of our brand value is an important signal, not only for my brand but also for the protection of international brands choosing to invest in a rapidly expanding region”, said Dr. Tonino Lamborghini.
