Tonino Lamborghini and Zona Living Design Group: a collaboration characterised by outstanding interior designs

Bold Design, Reinvented Tradition

During Milan Design Week 2025, Tonino Lamborghini SPA, the famous brand symbolizing excellence and uncompromising luxury, announced a new and prestigious partnership with ZL S.r.l., a Tuscan company with consolidated experience in the design and production of high-end furniture.

Thanks to this new partnership, ZL will be creating Tonino Lamborghini Total Living interior furnishings. With a strong commitment to experimentation and the use of high-quality materials, exclusive collections are presented that offer elegant and modern interior design solutions.

“The concept of Total Living is very dear to me: design has always been in the DNA of all my activities, an expression of character and vision”, says Mr. Tonino Lamborghini. “With the new Total Living interior collection, we have created furnishing accessories that can be inserted in spaces that express a modern, dynamic and authentic way of living Italian excellence. Every detail reflects our DNA: boldness, design, innovation and attention to quality. The collections are designed for those who choose to live with personality and always look ahead. Having exceptional designers such as Studio Giò Forma and Studio RADS Ricardo Antonio at our side, coordinated under the creative coordination of Angela Krieger, reinforces my cosmopolitan vision and desire for creative cross-fertilisation, giving life to my unique and distinctive style.”

The partnership marks a further step in the evolution of the brand, which with Tonino Lamborghini Total Living proposes an innovative concept of luxury furniture with a lifestyle character to embrace a 360° experiential brand vision. The strong heritage of the brand meets a bold vision of contemporary living. The design is a journey, a harmony of shapes, materials and vision.

Tonino Lamborghini Total Living reinterprets the essence of living, blending Italian artisan tradition with a design audacity that defies time. Each creation is a manifesto of style: a perfect balance between innovation and heritage, rigor of mechanics and warmth of hand-crafted items.

With this partnership, the two companies plan to create collections of high-quality furnishings and designs that meet the needs of the contemporary market, together with complete living projects, capable of responding to the needs of customers who are oriented towards absolute quality and love design.

Zona Living, in fact, stands out for its ability to elaborate products characterized by a strong artisan component using leathers and finishes of the highest quality combined with renowned technologies, which blend perfectly with the sophistication and unique distinctive character of the Tonino Lamborghini brand.

“Our partnership with Tonino Lamborghini represents a fundamental moment”, says Andrea Borri, CEO of Zona Living Srl. “With our experience and our commitment to innovation, we are excited to contribute to the realization of projects that embody the values of excellence and uniqueness. This collaboration allows us to aim for new goals in the world of design, responding to the demand of an increasingly challenging clientele.”

Tonino Lamborghini Total Living continues to consolidate its position as a leader in the luxury furniture sector, offering advanced living systems based on the excellence of Made in Italy. ZL, for its part, strengthens its role as a key player in the sector, confirming its vision and ability to respond to the desires of a highly competitive market.

Tonino Lamborghini Total Living collections are realized following the DNA of the brand created by Mr. Tonino Lamborghini who, as early as 1982, presented his first interior lines - in collaboration with the Architect Mario Volpi - and which were well received in the UK when presented in the Old Bond Street flagship store. Continuing Mr. Lamborghini's vision of creative fusion, the collections unveiled during Milan Design Week are the result of a collaboration with two famous architecture studios: Studio Giò Forma and RADS Ricardo Antonio Design Studio. Each product has been designed and created in perfect harmony with Tonino Lamborghini brand essence, embodying the style and values that have defined its uniqueness in the Total Living panorama for over 40 years.

Studio RADS
Ricardo Antonio, Brazilian designer and founder of RADS Studio, in collaboration with ZL Design Group, has created a new furniture collection for the prestigious Tonino Lamborghini brand: Vanguardia, with which he redefines the language of design, combining aesthetics and research. Inspired by the Space Age, but projected towards new scenarios, the collection sculpts space with decisive volumes, refined surfaces and innovative materials. Each element is a fusion of geometric rigour and versatility, designed for environments that go beyond conventions and anticipate new visions of contemporary living.

Ricardo Antonio began his professional life at Modulo, a Brazilian architecture and art monthly magazine, managed by the master of Brazilian modernist architecture Oscar Niemeyer, with whom he began a lifelong friendship and collaboration. The close contact with Niemeyer and most of the Brazilian modernist masters of the ‘Brasilia Generation’, such as the landscape designer Roberto Burle Marx, the architect and urban planner Lucio Costa, the anthropologist Darcy Ribeiro, the artist Athos Bulcao, just to name a few, had a decisive impact on Ricardo Antonio's training. In 1990 he opened his Studio URB in Rio, where he designed and produced a series of award-winning pieces of furniture. He later moved to Europe, and in the early 2000s he worked as a freelance journalist in London for international architecture and design magazines such as Wallpaper (London), World Architecture (London), Casa Brutus (Japan), and Projeto (Brazil). During his career he has interviewed Pierre Herzog, Peter Cook, Zaha Hadid, Jean Nouvel, Hans Hollein, Charles Correa, Ron Arad, Toyo Ito, Ross Lovegrove, Richard Roger, and many others. At the same time he created a series of unique pieces and collaborated with Oscar Niemeyer on projects such as the Serpentine Pavilion (London 2003) and the Oscar Niemeyer Auditorium in Ravello (Italy 2000 – 2010). In 2003, his award-winning Ravello seating range became his first design to be distributed on a global scale, by the prominent Italian manufacturer Poltrona Frau. ‘La Ravello’ is now part of the permanent collection of the Chair Museum in Rio. Currently based in Italy, Ricardo collaborates with Italian companies, architecture studios and design brands such as Poltrona Frau (Italy), Furla (Italy), Tonino Lamborghini (Italy), Legame Italia (Italy), Dupont Corian (Brazil), Sigmma (Brazil), Aeromarine (Portugal), Jacobsen Architecture (Brazil), Peddle Thorp (Australia). In 2017 Ricardo co-founded Pleasure-Lab, a non-profit research institute and design laboratory based in Milan that investigates what he calls the Ergonomics of Pleasure, a new approach to the discipline of traditional ergonomics. Since 2018 the designer has been collaborating with ZL Design Group, and also in this company, completely devoted to the creation of high-level design products in every respect, he has entirely designed the lines of Legame Italia, a new furniture brand, merging pure creativity with industrial design, and together with the production teams of Zl design Group, has conceived a new production process formula made up of purely manual craftsmanship phases, the use of pure materials and the technique necessary to make these objects comfortable and at the same time extremely elegant pieces of furniture.

We would like to remind you that the companies of Comm. Tonino Lamborghini and the "Tonino Lamborghini" branded products are not connected in any way with the company Automobili Lamborghini, now owned by the Audi-VW Group, founded in 1963 by Cav. del Lavoro Ferruccio Lamborghini, father of Tonino Lamborghini. Thank you.
