Bologna court ruling on unlawful use of Lamborghini name

A ruling has been issued by the Civil Court of Bologna recognizing trademark infringement by Gianmarco Fabio Lamborghini, also known as Fabio Lamborghini.

“He pretended to be the heir of Ferruccio Lamborghini around the world, exploiting the name and the brand [...] A trick that did not save him from a conviction. [...] Thus, Gianmarco Fabio Lamborghini – also known as Fabio Lamborghini –, cousin of Tonino Lamborghini, was convicted by the civil court of Bologna on Tuesday: he was found responsible for trademark infringement and unfair competition by confusion.”

Fabio Lamborghini will therefore no longer be able to use the Bull trademark and the Lamborghini name in any initiative and for any reason, nor “spend the quality of heir” of Ferruccio Lamborghini on any occasion, because there is now an injunction ruling on the matter.
